Acquia Learning Services is adding a new role to the team and is seeking a dynamic and engaging eLearning Training Specialist to design highly interactive technical training for our customers, employees and partners.  

Summary:

The training can range from online self-paced curriculum, webcasts, videos, blogs, and other online content. Additional instructor-led content may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

As our eLearning Training Specialist, you will design and produce interactive and experiential learning content for Drupal and for Acquia products and services.  You’re energetic, approachable and able to deliver the right solution; not the ‘out of the box’ solution that will put learners to sleep.  You believe that speed matters and are able to quickly produce online content to meet the learning need.  We want you to bring your creativity and talent to design learning in such a way that encourages team-based and individual learning.  You will work with subject matter experts and other content developers to design and translate business needs into course outlines and content, then produce an interactive, engaging eLearning experience.

Requirements:

• A passion and knack for creating and producing ‘not-your-average eLearning' in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• 3+ years’ demonstrated experience developing experiential eLearning on software and other web technologies
• Must be a "tools master" and have recent demonstrated ability to design/develop eLearning content using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, 
• Ability to add visual design elements to course materials
• Detail-oriented, creative, decisiveness, and ability to work in fast-paced environment.  Result matter to us.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems
• Demonstrate malleability and aptitude to learn, process and effectively implement new learning content
• Must be able to develop and maintain a high level understanding of company strategies and products so as to align training to business need
• Bachelor or Masters in Instructional Design or related field is a strong plus
• Superb oral and written communicative abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
