The Online Marketing Manager is the face of online advertising and paid search at Acquia. We are seeking an experienced rockstar to develop and manage our paid media programs with a relentless focus on driving site traffic, conversions and ultimately revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to own Acquia's digital media strategy and build it into a world-class demand generation program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategy, execution, and optimization of Acquia's paid media program, including digital, paid search (Google AdWords), remarketing, and social media advertising.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Communications, Demand Gen, and Web teams to deliver an integrated media strategy that drives high quality site traffic to acquia.com and landing pages. Align keywords to SEO and other content marketing strategies.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including setting goals and objectives, keyword research, ad copywriting, landing page development, and multivariate testing.
  • Leverage data to evolve programs, identify growth opportunities, and improve conversion: Increase CTR and conversions, lower CPL, and deliver the best possible ROI.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports on channel CPL, conversion, and sales pipeline metrics.
  • Manage and maintain positive, profitable relationships with strategic agencies and other vendors.
  • Responsible for cost-effective channel budget forecasting and management, as well as identifying growth and scaling opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience building, managing, and optimizing large-scale digital advertising and PPC programs, with a proven track record of driving ROI for the business.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including ability to interpret and analyze performance data, report on top-to-bottom funnel metrics, and use data to improve channel performance.
  • Superior project management and organization skills to execute complex campaigns, while also managing and motivating internal stakeholders to strict campaign timelines.
  • A confident and proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and multi-task while driving results.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A passion for learning, change, and thinking outside the box to propose and implement new campaigns and media channels.
  • A team player with a great sense of humor.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and web analytics and bid management platforms, including Google AdWords, Google Analytics, or other PPC / Ad networks.
  • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation (Marketo preferred) systems.
  • Advertising and landing page copywriting that drive conversions.
  • Experience in working with and managing external vendor relationships, including strong negotiating skills to deliver high quality leads on time and cost-effectively.
