Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of ~10 early career business development professionals to ensure each has proper coaching, training, and constructive feedback
- Increase efficiency of team by implementing best practices, team metrics, and individual KPIs
- Evaluate, improve, and make data-driven suggestions for improvement to all business development processes
- Build and maintain a predictable, repeatable, and scalable pipeline generation process within your team
- Motivate team members to over-achieve in all aspects of their role
- Work cross-functionally with different members of various Acquia departments
- Work with remote field sales account executives to ensure a productive working relationship between field and inside sales

- Understand the ins and outs of demand generation and pipeline generation for B2B Enterprise software sales, including prospecting, booking meetings, objection handling, follow up, and “funnel math”
- Understand and be able to explain Acquia’s value prop to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical within an organization
- Business acumen: understand what drives business and how digital can transform and improve all areas of an enterprise
- Well-rounded, articulate, well-spoken individual who chooses words purposefully
- Exceptional writing skills
- Intelligent, curious, and above average motivation with a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrable work ethic
- Operates with high integrity in all things and expects the same from their teammates
- Strong knowledge of SFDC reporting capabilities and Microsoft Excel with ability to use its data for decision making
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience as a quota carrying sales rep
