Acquia's world class sales team is looking to capitalize on the momentum that comes with being the fastest growing software company in the United States. A big part of that strategy is growing our team of Business Development Representatives.
We're looking for recent college grads that want to jump-start their career through enterprise sales and business development. Did you know that 40% of S&P 500 CEOs come from a sales & marketing background*? Previous sales experience in technology doesn't hurt, but it isn't a requirement (the majority of our team came directly from the dorm to our office!).
Our BDRs reach out to potential customers to discuss Acquia's products and services. The team's goal is to have engaging conversations with interested people that may be a good fit to work with us. We spend time on the phone with our clients to discover their challenges, their requirements, and help them determine the most appropriate Acquia solution for their needs. The BDR team is responsible for learning about the Digital Marketing environment, understanding Acquia products, and learning as much as possible about our clients.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Outgoing personality and a good listener.
- Have intellectual agility and an entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients.
- Interest in working in a start-up, fast paced technology environment.
- Ability to learn and absorb new products quickly and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.
- Confident presentation skills, a comfort level with senior professionals and the communications skills to articulate a value proposition to a wide range of organizational and functional levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
