As a critical member of the Acquia Cloud Product Management team, you would be the primary product manager for Acquia Cloud’s core platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Talking with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to determine what needs to get built
  • Participating in Acquia’s agile development process including sprint planning and daily scrums - to build new capabilities and enhance existing solutions
  • Creating and managing product roadmap, prioritization, and tradeoffs
  • Communicating roadmap and technical capabilities to customers
  • Assessing current and emerging technologies and market/industry trends in order to inform platform strategy and decisions

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to lead in a dynamic, collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Ability to establish clear priorities while balancing complex technical and business requirements
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching complex technology products
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technical product management and/or product development, architect
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of the following areas: application lifecycle management, continuous delivery, DevOps, web application operations, distributed computing, PaaS, IaaS, cloud services and APIs.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent is highly desirable
